Jezreelite

What is Jezreelite?
Jezreelite means a person from the town of Jezreel. In Scripture it identifies Naboth the Jezreelite, whose vineyard beside Ahab's palace the king coveted (1 Kings 21:1) and whom Queen Jezebel had killed so Ahab could seize it (1 Kings 21:15). Years later Jehu cast the body of Ahab's son Joram into Naboth's field in judgment (2 Kings 9:25).
