Job believed in the Lord; because he neglected not to praise his Creator, the Lord saved him from all the tribulation that the adversary of the children of Adam, even the Devil, brought upon him. He said, The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; it came to pass as the Lord desired for me; let the Name of the Lord be praised by all upon the Earth and in Heaven. Because he suffered not his mind to be cast down, the Lord saved him.

When the Lord saw that the heart of Job was cleansed from iniquity, He received him with great honour.

And He gave unto him wealth that abounded more than his former wealth, because he had wholly endured his tribulation. He healed him of his wounds because of his endurance through all the trials that came upon him.

And if thou, even as he, dost endure the tribulation coming from the demons sent against thee, thou shalt be praised.

Endure the tribulation, that the Lord might be a fortress of refuge for thee against those that hate thee, and that He might be a fortress of refuge for thy children's children and those that come after thee. Suffer not your minds to be cast down by the trials that come upon you; believe in Him, and He shall be your fortress.

Entreat Him, and He will hear you. Have hope, and He will forgive you. Entreat Him, and He will be a Father unto you.

Call to remembrance Mordecai and Esther, Judith and Gideon, Deborah and Barak, Jephthah and Samson...

and other persons like unto them who were taught to believe in the Lord, and whose enemies prevailed not against them.

For the Lord is True, and He sheweth not partiality. But those who love to commit iniquity against themselves do receive affliction. All who fear Him and keep His Law shall preserve their bodies, and He shall give them love and honour.

He shall make them joyful in their going out and their coming in, in their life and their death, and in their rising up and their sitting down. For He saveth, and He setteth apart.

For He bringeth sorrow, and He bringeth pardon.

He maketh poor, and He giveth honour; He maketh wretched, and when He giveth honour, He maketh them joyful.
