But as David spake, saying: I have believed in the Lord; I will not fear, having said, What can a man do unto me?—there is neither dread nor dismay for those who believe in the Lord.

And again, as he spake, saying: Though warriors compass me about, I have believed in Him; I have asked one thing of the Lord, and that do I seek—those who believe in Him have no fear upon them. A man who believeth in Him shall dwell in Life for ever, and he shall not fear the coming of any evil thing.

Who is the man that was put to shame for believing in the Lord? Or who was forsaken by Him for having a desire?

As He hath said: I love him that loveth Me, and I shall honour him that glorifieth Me. I shall keep him that returneth unto Me in repentance. Who is the man that was put to shame for believing in Him?

Judge with Truth and deliver the widow; save them that the Lord might deliver you from all who oppose you in evil. Protect them; for the children of the righteous are honoured and given prosperity, and He shall save your children after you, for they shall not be troubled for want of bread.
