Who is Job?
Job was a man in the land of Uz, perfect and upright, one that feared God and eschewed evil (Job 1:1); after losing his children, wealth, and health without cursing God, the LORD restored him and gave him twice as much as he had before (Job 42:10). A different Job, a son of Issachar, is named in Genesis 46:13.
