Who is Jehoiakim?
Jehoiakim was a king of Judah, son of Josiah, whom Pharaoh Necho made king in place of his brother, changing his name from Eliakim (2 Kings 23:34). He did evil in the sight of the LORD (2 Chronicles 36:5), and in his reign Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came against Jerusalem (Daniel 1:1).
