Who is Jehoahaz?
Jehoahaz is the name of more than one king in Scripture. Jehoahaz the son of Jehu reigned seventeen years over Israel in Samaria and did evil in the sight of the LORD (2 Kings 13:1). A later Jehoahaz, the son of Josiah, was made king of Judah by the people but reigned only three months before Pharaoh Necho deposed him and carried him to Egypt, where he died (2 Kings 23:31, 2 Kings 23:34). The name is also used of Jehoram of Judah's youngest son (2 Chronicles 21:17).
