Jehoash
dzhee-HO-ash
Who is Jehoash?
Jehoash is the name of two kings: Jehoash son of Ahaziah, who became king of Judah at seven years old, did right under the priest Jehoiada, and organized the repair of the temple (2 Kings 11:21, 2 Kings 12:2, 2 Kings 12:4), and Jehoash son of Jehoahaz, king of Israel, who recovered cities from Syria and defeated Amaziah of Judah, breaking down part of Jerusalem's wall (2 Kings 13:10, 2 Kings 13:25, 2 Kings 14:13). Both are also called Joash.
