Who is Jehoiachin?
Jehoiachin was a king of Judah, son of Jehoiakim, who succeeded his father and reigned three months in Jerusalem before surrendering to the king of Babylon (2 Kings 24:6, 2 Kings 24:8). He was carried into captivity to Babylon (2 Kings 24:15), and years later Evilmerodach of Babylon released him from prison (2 Kings 25:27).
