Jazer
JAH-zer
What is Jazer?
Jazer was a town and its surrounding land east of the Jordan in Gilead, near the border of the children of Ammon (Joshua 13:25). Its pastureland drew the cattle-rich tribes of Reuben and Gad (Numbers 32:1), and it was given to the Gadites and later assigned as a Levitical city (Joshua 21:39).
