Jahaz

What is Jahaz?
Jahaz is a place east of the Jordan where Sihon king of the Amorites gathered his people and fought against Israel, only to be defeated (Numbers 21:23, Deuteronomy 2:32). Later prophets named it among the towns of Moab (Isaiah 15:4, Jeremiah 48:34).
