Who is Timotheus?
Timotheus, better known as Timothy, was a disciple from Lystra, the son of a believing Jewish mother and a Greek father, whom Paul took along as a companion and fellow worker (Acts 16:1). Paul sent him on missions and named him alongside himself in the greetings of several letters (Philippians 1:1).
