Madon

Mah-DON

What is Madon?

Madon was a city whose king Jobab was sent to by Jabin king of Hazor, along with the king of Shimron and the king of Achshaph (Joshua 11:1). Its king is named in the roll of the kings whom Joshua and the children of Israel smote (Joshua 12:19). Scripture records nothing else about the town.
