Who is Adriel?
Adriel the Meholathite is the man to whom Merab, Saul's daughter, was given to wife at the time when she should have been given to David (1 Samuel 18:19). He is elsewhere called the son of Barzillai the Meholathite, and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul were brought up for him (2 Samuel 21:8).
