Timnite
TIM-nite
What is Timnite?
Timnite is the label the Philistines use for the father in law of Samson, in the answer given when they asked who hath done this: Samson, the son in law of the Timnite, because he had taken his wife, and given her to his companion (Judges 15:6). In that same verse the Philistines came up and burnt her and her father with fire. The word occurs only there in the King James text.
