Who is Shishak?
Shishak was a king of Egypt who sheltered Jeroboam when he fled from Solomon (1 Kings 11:40). In the fifth year of King Rehoboam he invaded Judah and came up against Jerusalem, carrying away the treasures of the house of the LORD and of the king's house, including the shields of gold Solomon had made (2 Chronicles 12:9).
