Rehoboth

What is Rehoboth?
Rehoboth is a name given to more than one place in Scripture. It was a city built by Asshur near Nineveh (Genesis 10:11), and it was also the name Isaac gave to a well he dug in peace, saying the LORD had made room for them (Genesis 26:22). An Edomite king, Saul, is also called 'of Rehoboth by the river' (Genesis 36:37).
