Who was Nahor?
Nahor is the name of two men in Abraham's line. The elder was son of Serug and father of Terah (Genesis 11:24), making him Abraham's grandfather. The better-known Nahor was a son of Terah and brother of Abraham (Genesis 11:27); he married Milcah (Genesis 11:29) and was grandfather of Rebekah through his son Bethuel (Genesis 24:15).
