Michmash

What is Michmash?
Michmash was a town in the territory of Benjamin where the Philistines encamped against King Saul and where Saul mustered his men early in his reign (1 Samuel 13:5, 1 Samuel 13:2). It was still inhabited after the exile (Nehemiah 11:31).
