Who is Mephibosheth?
Mephibosheth was the son of Jonathan and grandson of King Saul, lame in both feet after a fall when he was five years old (2 Samuel 4:4). For Jonathan's sake, David sought him out, restored to him all of Saul's land, and had him eat at the king's table continually (2 Samuel 9:7).
