What is Kenites?
The Kenites were a people listed among the nations in the land God promised to Abraham (Genesis 15:19). They lived near the Amalekites and showed kindness to Israel when they came up out of Egypt, so Saul spared them (1 Samuel 15:6). Heber the Kenite was of the family of Hobab, Moses' father in law (Judges 4:11).
