Keilah
kee-EYE-luh
What is Keilah?
Keilah was a fortified town in the lowland of Judah (Joshua 15:44). When the Philistines raided its threshingfloors, David and his men fought them and saved the city (1 Samuel 23:1-5), though its people were later willing to hand David over to Saul (1 Samuel 23:12).
