What is Kedesh?
Kedesh is a town in Galilee in the mountains of Naphtali, set apart as one of the cities of refuge and given to the Levites (Joshua 20:7, Joshua 21:32). It was the gathering point from which Barak mustered Zebulun and Naphtali against Sisera (Judges 4:9, Judges 4:10), and it was later taken by Tiglathpileser of Assyria (2 Kings 15:29).
