Who is Jeiel?
Jeiel is a name carried by several different Israelite men in the Old Testament, most of them Levites. One Jeiel was a Levite singer and gatekeeper appointed to serve before the ark (1 Chronicles 15:18), another was an ancestor of the prophet Jahaziel (2 Chronicles 20:14), and others appear among those who returned from exile with Ezra (Ezra 8:13).
