Who is Hilkiah?

Hilkiah is the name of several men in Scripture, best known as the high priest in the reign of Josiah who told Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD (2 Kings 22:8). The king afterward commanded him to remove the vessels made for Baal from the temple (2 Kings 23:4). Another Hilkiah was the father of the prophet Jeremiah, of the priests in Anathoth (Jeremiah 1:1).
