Halah

What is Halah?
Halah was a place in Assyria where the king of Assyria settled the Israelites he carried into exile after the fall of Samaria, alongside Habor by the river of Gozan (2 Kings 17:6, 2 Kings 18:11). The Reubenites, Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh were also brought there (1 Chronicles 5:26).
