Who is Elioenai?
Elioenai is the name of several different men in Scripture, most known only from genealogies. One was a descendant of David through Neariah, whose own seven sons are listed by name (1 Chronicles 3:23, 1 Chronicles 3:24). Others include a Simeonite prince (1 Chronicles 4:36) and a priest of that name listed with trumpets at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem (Nehemiah 12:41).
Meaning: toward the LORD are my eyes (Hebrew)
