Elealeh
EL-lee-AY-lah
What is Elealeh?
Elealeh was a town in the pastureland east of the Jordan, near Heshbon, in territory settled by the tribe of Reuben. It was among the cities the Reubenites rebuilt (Numbers 32:37). Later it fell under Moabite control, and the prophets named it in their laments over Moab, pairing its cry with Heshbon's (Isaiah 15:4).
