Who is Abiathar?
Abiathar was a priest, son of Ahimelech, who escaped the slaughter at Nob and fled to David (1 Samuel 22:20). He carried the ark and served David through his reign, but Solomon later removed him from the priesthood and banished him to Anathoth (1 Kings 2:26).
