I pray thee, consider thine own body: the nails of thy feet, the nails of thy hands, and the hair upon thy head—how they grow back swiftly after thou cuttest them. Know the Resurrection by this; for thou hast understanding, faith, and knowledge.

Concerning thy nails and thy hair, dost thou ask, "Whence come these?" Is it not the LORD who prepared them to grow? Discern the rising that shall come upon thine own flesh—not the flesh of another—that thou mayest know thou shalt arise after thou diest.

Because thou hast led the people astray by saying, "There is no Resurrection of the dead," when the dead arise, thou shalt receive thy travail according to thy transgressions and thine iniquity.

Even as the seed thou sowest now refuseth not to grow—whether it be wheat or barley—thou shalt behold this truth in the hour thy travail cometh.

Furthermore, the plant thou sowest saith not, "I will not grow." Whether it be a fig tree or a vine, its fruit and leaves change not their nature.

If thou plantest grapes, they change not into figs; if thou plantest figs, they change not into grapes; if thou sowest wheat, it changeth not into barley.

Every seed, according to its kind—every fruit, every wood, every leaf, and every root—sendeth forth fruit, having received the blessing of the Dew of Pardon from the LORD. If thou sowest barley, it shall not change into wheat.

Likewise, as a grave bringeth forth flesh and soul, it shall bring forth persons even as the LORD sowed them therein. The flesh and soul the LORD sowed shall arise together. Those who wrought good works shall not be changed into those who wrought evil, and those who wrought evil shall not be changed into those who wrought good.

In the hour when the trumpet is sounded, the dead shall arise by the Dew of Pardon found from the LORD. Those who wrought good works shall arise unto the Resurrection of Life; their reward is the Garden of Joy that the LORD prepared for the righteous, where there is no tribulation or affliction, and which is the dwelling of the pure who shall never die again.

But those who wrought evil works shall arise unto the Resurrection of Final Judgment, together with the Devil who led them astray—

and with his hosts—devils who love not even one of the children of Adam to be saved.

They shall descend unto the uttermost darkness of Gehenna, where there is gnashing of teeth and mourning; where there is no mercy or pardon, and no departing for all eternity. It is beneath Sheol forever. For they wrought no good works during their days in this world while they were in the flesh.

Because of this, they shall be judged in the hour that flesh and soul arise together.

Woe unto those who believe not in the rising of flesh and soul, whereby the LORD sheweth the abundance of His wonders. Every man shall receive his reward according to his work and the labour of his hands.
