Zorah

ZAWR-uh

What is Zorah?

Zorah was a town given to the tribe of Dan as part of its inheritance, listed alongside Eshtaol (Joshua 19:41). It was the home of Manoah of the family of the Danites, whose barren wife would bear Samson (Judges 13:2), and Samson was later buried between Zorah and Eshtaol in the burying place of his father Manoah (Judges 16:31).
