Who is Rezin?
Rezin was the king of Syria who joined Pekah son of Remaliah in besieging Ahaz at Jerusalem, though the two could not overcome him (2 Kings 16:5, Isaiah 7:1). Isaiah calls Rezin the head of Damascus (Isaiah 7:8). He recovered Elath to Syria but was slain when the king of Assyria went up against Damascus and took it (2 Kings 16:6, 2 Kings 16:9).
