Rephidim
REHF-ih-dihm
What is Rephidim?
Rephidim was a stopping place in Israel's wilderness journey where there was no water for the people to drink, so the LORD brought water from the rock (Exodus 17:1, Numbers 33:14). There Amalek came and fought against Israel (Exodus 17:8), and from Rephidim they went on to the wilderness of Sinai (Exodus 19:2).
