What is Rephaim?
In these passages Rephaim is a valley near Jerusalem where the Philistines twice spread out against David (2 Samuel 5:18, 2 Samuel 5:22). It was also the site of the Philistine camp near the cave of Adullam (2 Samuel 23:13) and a place known for its harvest grain (Isaiah 17:5).
