Parmenas
PAHR-mee-nas
Who is Parmenas?
Parmenas was one of the seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, chosen by the early church in Jerusalem to serve the daily distribution to widows so the apostles could devote themselves to prayer and the ministry of the word (Acts 6:5). He is listed alongside Stephen, Philip, and the others whom the apostles set apart by prayer and the laying on of hands.
