Who is Nebat?
Nebat was the father of Jeroboam, the servant of Solomon who became the first king of the northern kingdom of Israel. Throughout Kings, Jeroboam is repeatedly named as 'the son of Nebat' (1 Kings 11:26, 1 Kings 12:2).
