Laadan
LAY-uh-dan
Who is Laadan?
Laadan is the name of two men in 1 Chronicles. One belongs to the line of Ephraim, a son of Tahan and the father of Ammihud, in the descent that runs on to Elishama, Non, and Jehoshua (1 Chronicles 7:26). The other is a Gershonite Levite in David's division of the Levites into courses, and the sons of Laadan were Jehiel the chief, Zetham, and Joel (1 Chronicles 23:7, 1 Chronicles 23:8); his house is reckoned again through Jehieli among the Levite treasurers (1 Chronicles 26:21).
