Who is Laban?
Laban was the brother of Rebekah and son of Bethuel the Syrian, living in Padanaram (Genesis 24:29, Genesis 25:20). He was the father of Leah and Rachel, and his nephew Jacob worked and married into his household (Genesis 29:13, Genesis 29:16).
