Who is Ishbosheth?

Ishbosheth was a son of King Saul whom Abner made king over Israel at Mahanaim while the house of Judah followed David (2 Samuel 2:8, 2 Samuel 2:10). He was killed on his bed by Rechab and Baanah, who brought his head to David at Hebron (2 Samuel 4:8).
