Who is Hadadezer?
Hadadezer, son of Rehob, was king of Zobah, a Syrian (Aramean) kingdom that David defeated as he extended his border toward the Euphrates (2 Samuel 8:3). When the Syrians of Damascus came to help him, David struck them down as well (2 Samuel 8:5).
