Where was Eshtaol?
Eshtaol was a town in the valley country of Judah that was also counted to the inheritance of Dan (Joshua 15:33, Joshua 19:41). The Spirit of the LORD began to move Samson in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol (Judges 13:25), and his family buried him between those same two towns (Judges 16:31). The Danites later sent five men out from Zorah and Eshtaol to spy out the land (Judges 18:2).
