Caleb

Who is Caleb?
Caleb, the son of Jephunneh of the tribe of Judah, was one of the twelve spies Moses sent into Canaan (Numbers 13:6). He and Joshua alone urged Israel to trust God and take the land (Numbers 13:30), so of that generation only Caleb and Joshua were allowed to enter it (Numbers 26:65). At eighty-five he received Hebron as his inheritance because he wholly followed the LORD (Joshua 14:13).
