Who is Bezalel?
Bezalel, spelled Bezaleel in the King James Version, was the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, whom the LORD called by name and filled with the Spirit of God for skilled craftsmanship (Exodus 31:2, Exodus 31:3). He was the chief artisan who built the ark and the furnishings of the tabernacle (Exodus 37:1, Exodus 38:22).
