Amaziah

Who is Amaziah?

Amaziah was a king of Judah, the son of Joash, who began to reign at twenty five and ruled twenty nine years in Jerusalem (2 Kings 14:1). The name also belongs to the priest of Bethel who accused the prophet Amos of conspiracy (Amos 7:10) and to two men in the genealogies of Chronicles (1 Chronicles 4:34, 1 Chronicles 6:45).
