What is Adummim?
Adummim appears in the KJV only twice, both times as an ascent on a tribal boundary called a going up. The border of Judah ran from the valley of Achor northward toward Gilgal, before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river (Joshua 15:7). The border of Benjamin went forth toward Geliloth, over against the going up of Adummim, and descended from there to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben (Joshua 18:17).
