Who is Achab?
Achab is the Douay-Rheims spelling of Ahab, the son of Omri who began to reign over Israel and ruled in Samaria twenty and two years (1 Kings 16:29). The King James text says he did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him (1 Kings 16:30).
