Woe unto you who kept not the Law He commanded you in the Tent; woe unto you nobles of Israel who did not His Will, but followed after your own will—which is pride, haughtiness, covetousness, adultery, drinking, drunkenness, and the swearing of lies.
Because of this, Mine anger is kindled. As chaff is consumed before a fire, and as fire burneth the mountain, and as a whirlwind driveth away the broken chaff from the Earth and scattereth it toward Heaven until no trace is found in its place—Mine anger shall destroy you even so.
The LORD who honoured Israel saith: "I shall likewise destroy all persons who work iniquity." Think upon the LORD who ruleth all and for whom nothing is impossible.
He loveth those that love Him; and for those that walk steadfastly in His Commandment, He will make atonement for their wickedness and their transgression. Be not hard or stingy of heart through unbelief.
Make straight your understanding to be governed by the LORD, and believe in Him that ye may strengthen your bodies; and I shall deliver you from the hand of your enemy in your day of tribulation.
In your season of prayer, I say unto you: Lo, I am there with you in succour. I shall deliver you from the hand of your enemy. Because ye have believed in Me, and because ye have kept My Commandment, and because ye departed not from My Law, and because ye loved that which I love—the LORD who ruleth all saith: "I will not forsake you in your day of tribulation."
He loveth those that love Him, for He is a Pardoner and He is gracious; He keepeth those that keep His Law as a precious trust.
He withholdeth His anger many times; because He knoweth they are flesh and blood and because He is a Pardoner, He destroyed them not all in His chastisement. When their souls are separated from their flesh, they shall return unto their dust.
Forasmuch as He created them, bringing them from nothingness unto life, they shall not know the place where they abide until the LORD chooseth to bring them again from nothingness unto life. Again He separated their souls from their flesh, and the nature of the Earth returned unto its dust.
And again, His Will shall bring them from nothingness unto life."
But Tseerutsaydan, who denied the LORD, increased his pride before the LORD; he exalted himself until the day he died and departed from this world.
He said, "Mine era hath become as the era of Heaven; I am he that sendeth forth the Sun, and I shall not die for all eternity."
Before he had finished speaking this, the Angel of Death, whose name is Thilimyakos, descended and smote his heart. He died in that very hour. Because he praised not his Creator, he was parted from his fair estate and perished because of his great pride and evil works.
And when the host of the Chaldean king had encamped in the city and the squares of the country, desiring to fight against him, they found that he was dead. They went forth to destroy his country and plundered all his cattle; they spared not the elders who were nigh unto the walls.
They plundered all his substance, took even his least silver, burned his country with fire, and returned unto their own land.
