Think upon the servant of the LORD, Moses, who was not provoked to wrath when he kept this people in his humility and prayer, that not even one should perish. He prayed unto the LORD in his innocence for his sister and his brother who spake against him and whom the LORD was minded to destroy, saying: "Forasmuch as they have wronged Thee, O LORD, pardon and forsake not Thy people." He made atonement for their iniquity, for He remembered Moses, who was not vexed.

"For I have wronged Thee; forgive me Thy servant who am a transgressor, for Thou art Merciful and a Pardoner; forgive them their iniquity."

And Moses likewise made atonement for the transgression of his sister and his brother who spake against him.

Because of this, he was called innocent.

The LORD loved him above all the priests who were his brethren; for He appointed the priests, but the LORD made Moses as Himself among them.

But He also caused the earth to swallow the children of Korah who challenged him; He brought them down into Sheol with their cattle and their tents when they said, "Behold, we are here in flesh and soul." Forasmuch as the LORD loved Moses and as he departed not from His Commandment, every word he spake was done as though it were the Word of the LORD.

Unless ye also transgress the Commandment of the LORD, the LORD will fulfil your desires, love your doings, and preserve your Kingdom for you.

Asaph and the children of Korah who departed from the commandment of Moses murmured against him because he spake unto them, "Make straight your thoughts to be governed by the LORD."

They murmured, saying, "Are we not also children of Levi who do the work of the priesthood in the Tabernacle?"

They went and offered incense, taking their censers to burn it; but the LORD received not their supplication. They were consumed by the fire in their censers and melted as wax in a flame; not one of them remained. As it was said: their censers were honoured by their bodies being burnt, but aside from the censers that entered the Dwelling of the LORD by His commandment, neither their garments nor their bones remained.

Because of this, the LORD spake unto Aaron and Moses: "Gather those censers unto the Tent; let them be a vessel for My Dwelling, for which I have prepared all things from the outside unto the inside."

And he prepared the honoured vessels of the Tent; he prepared the rings, the joiners, and the sea with the likeness of the Cherubim.

He made the cups, the curtains, the bases of the Tent for journeying, the altar, and the vessels used for sacrifice in the Tabernacle.

They offered the sacrifices according to their covenant—the welfare offerings, the sin offerings, the vow offerings, and the morning and evening sacrifices.

All that He commanded Moses, he commanded them to do in the Tabernacle.

They scorned not to be governed by their Creator, the LORD, that His Name might be praised by them in the Tent of the Law of the LORD, who promised to give them the inheritance of their fathers—a land flowing with milk and honey—which He sware unto Abraham.

They scorned not to be governed by their Creator, who sware unto Isaac and established His worship for Jacob

and who established for Aaron and Moses the Tent wherein His worship is kept—

and who established His worship for both Elijah and Samuel in the Temple and Tent that Solomon builded, until it became the Dwelling of the LORD in Jerusalem—the place that honoured Israel.

For the Temple is a place of supplication and atonement for iniquity for those who dwell in innocence and for the priests.

It is a place for those that do His Will, where He will hear their supplications—

and the edifice of the Law of the LORD that honoured Israel.

It is where sacrifices are offered and incense is burned, that the LORD who honoured Israel might be in a sweet savour.

He would speak from the mercy seat in the Tabernacle where He forgiveth; the Light of the LORD would be revealed unto the children of Jacob whom He chose and unto those beloved who walk steadfastly in His Law and Commandment.

But those who disregarded the Law of the LORD shall be as the children of Korah whom the Earth swallowed up; likewise, transgressors shall enter Gehenna, whence there is no departing for all eternity.
