Who is Zaphenath-Paneah?
Zaphenath-Paneah is the Egyptian name that Pharaoh gave to Joseph when he set him over the land of Egypt (Genesis 41:45). It is the same name the King James Version spells Zaphnathpaaneah. In the same verse Pharaoh gave Joseph Asenath, daughter of Potipherah priest of On, as his wife.
