What is Uphaz?
Uphaz is a place named in Scripture as a source of fine gold. Jeremiah lists gold from Uphaz among the materials used to make idols (Jeremiah 10:9), and Daniel describes a heavenly man whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz (Daniel 10:5).
