What is Tekoa?
Tekoa was a town in Judah near Bethlehem, fortified by King Rehoboam (2 Chronicles 11:6) and best known as the home of the prophet Amos (Amos 1:1). The wilderness nearby bore its name, and it was there that King Jehoshaphat rallied Judah to trust the LORD (2 Chronicles 20:20).
